Life can provide events or circumstances that may prove to be overwhelming in the everyday lives of individuals and their families often leading to anxiety and/or depression. Many of these circumstances are based in wounded relationships between husbands and wives and parents and children. Additionally, one or more persons in these relationships may be experiencing intrapersonal difficulties, including anxiety and depression, or situational stressors like work or school. In a world filled with both challenge and opportunity, counseling can be a logical choice. Allow me to help you take the next step.
My preferred method of practice incorporates the use of cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, and solution-focused therapies. However, therapy is individualized and tailored to the uniqueness of each person. I am dedicated to helping my clients build inner strength and courage and move toward better mental health.

My experience encompasses working with individuals and families, adults, adolescents and children. My clinical areas of interests include depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, family violence, and women’s issues.

Life does not always go according to plan, relationships can be difficult and challenging, leaving feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. At the very least, depression and anxiety may set in and possibly affect our home, work, and social lives. Counseling is an opportunity that can help to improve these issues and a host of many others by exploring areas that have unexpectedly become problematic.
I am committed to helping adults and children find their own strength and creativity, learn new coping skills, and discover their value on personal journeys of growth and enrichment. My counseling style is client-centered, cognitive behavioral and solution focused tailored to meet clients individual needs.

I welcome adults, adolescents and children. Areas of focus and experience are depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, marital, parenting, grief, domestic violence, and life transition.
